      <description><![CDATA[<p><b><span>LPN/RN SUMMARY</span></b><span></span></p><p><span>Ensure the maintenance of high quality and safe resident services in an Assisted Living environment.</span></p><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><b><span>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</span></b><span>include the following:<br> *Other duties may be assigned.</span></p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintaining established policies and procedures, standards of practice and Residents Rights, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control and other regulatory requirements.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assess and evaluate Residents abilities and needs as necessary.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coaching and teaching Residents and family members as needed.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assigning, directing and supervising Resident Assistants in quality Resident Services</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Administering medications and treatments to Residents as directed by their physician.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Taking physicians orders, episodic charting and maintaining accurate Resident medical records.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assisting in making level of service determinations.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Arranging for adequate supplies and properly functioning equipment.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responding to emergency situations.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Meet the psychological needs of Residents by maintaining the Residents dignity, providing privacy and confidentiality and giving gentle and sincere attention to the Residents desires and service needs.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assisting with other duties as necessary for the smooth operation of the Community.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintain a qualified, efficient staff.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Participate in planning and projects/teams as necessary.</p><p><span>Â·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Enhance professional and personal growth and development.</p><p><b><span>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></b><span><br> Directly supervises employees while on duty.&nbsp; Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.&nbsp; Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.<br> <br> <b>QUALIFICATIONS<br> </b>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&nbsp; The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.&nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</span></p><p><b><span>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE<br> </span></b><span>One year certificate from college or technical school.
